  • So tired that I couldn’t even sleep, so many secrets I couldn’t keep…

    It was like 11:30 pm that night when she called me. I knew before I knew. I knew it was her. She had a way of always knowing when I needed her before I knew I needed her. And I had just made up my mind to call her in the morning. Sigh. “Hey sister!” she chirped, like always. I smiled. “I was gonna call you in the morning,” I said, already trying to steer the conversation..

    “Pancakes, ” she said firmly. I winced and looked at the clock. I had an early morning meeting and a full day ahead, plus I was already exhausted. She huffed at my lack of response. Sigh. “Okay, but just pancakes,” I groaned. She literally laughed out loud.

    Half an hour later she was in my driveway, with a damn suitcase! Let me explain, “pancakes” is our super secret sister word. Drop everything and twin. I had no way out of this. It had been our ritual since we were kids. “I hope there’s maple syrup in that suitcase, sister,” I chuckled, tho I was not amused. I had a meeting! “Not a chance, sister. Road Trip. Pack a bag.” We argued back and forth for a few minutes, but it was useless. We were doing, what she was planning. So, off we went in a black convertible I don’t remember her having the last time we were together. We drove all night and ended up at the beach just in time to see the sun rise. We sat on the hood of that old car, grinning from ear to ear, sharing a stack of take out pancakes utterly drenched in butter and syrup, basking in the warm sun. Turns out pancakes were a great idea.   • My mom says I’m a catch, I’m popular…

    I have purposely held off from making this post for a couple months because I’m still so pissed about what happened this day. But we’re and adorable version of Hillary Duff and Courtney Love and thought it was time to share. A little backstory…

    Once upon a time, I had someone I thought was a really great friend come hang out with Millie and myself. This person and I had been friends for months and I really thought we got a long well and he was a chill guy. This person suggested we do a pic as 90s celebrities, so of course, Millie and I were on board immediately. While Millie and I were getting ready for the pic, this dude TPs out and never speaks to me again. No words, no communication, nothing. No idea the reason. I don’t really even care, but I was pissed because, as you know, it’s not always easy to make friends from randoms in SL and I really thought I’d lucked out. But oh well, Mr. Popularity and all his minions can go fuck themselves. Have the day you deserve, weirdo.

  • But then I got high…

    In the immortal words of Afroman, “but then I got high”, is highly accurate for us. Listen, we’re big fans of the devils lettuce and proud of it. So of course we celebrated 420 on 4/20 like the national holiday it should be. That may explain for the delay in this post and the lack of any credits for any of us. Yup, we had very good intentions, but let’s be real, we barely made it through the photoshoot. Light up ’em folks, it’s a crazy world out there. Till next time…

  • I’m hell on heels, say what you will, I done made the devil a deal…

    This is a tale of three sisters – Mazzy, Millie, and Liesel. There were more of us before, but we three that have stuck it out and put up with each others good and bad days for so long now that I don’t think we could really imagine SL or RL without each other anymore.

    Millie and I spent the better part of our day putting together our angelic outfits. As you can probably tell, we love dressing up and dressing alike. We always try to add our own bit of personality, but we do often end up wearing one or more of the same things. I love this picture of us because you can really see our own distinct personalities.

    As we were wrapping up our photo, we got an unexpected visitor. Not that she isn’t always welcome, because she is. We love our baby sister. But she is a handful. We’ve had to threaten to throw her right out of Heaven if she doesn’t straighten up. But look at that face. Do you think she’s ever gonna act right? Hell no.

  • I know, I said I’d never think I wasn’t better alone…

    I debating posting this, but decided I would anyway. It’s not our typical post, but I love how this picture turned out. Millie and Liesel joined me at Templemore last night for some true Coachella vibes. I’ve been trying to be more social lately, and I’ve been so lucky to meet some awesome people who are into the same things I’m into. See, I’m a weirdo. I have AuDHD and am a bit of a loner because of it. I got used to spending almost all my time in the air, on a platform, or just standing there. Solitude is comfortable. But it’s good to break out of that sometimes, I’m learning, tho not always easy. It’s always easier tho, when you have some good people around and I finally feel like I have found what I’ve been looking for. Till next time…

  • I’m gonna run this nothing town…

    Do you remember that time your sibling got you into trouble? So does Millie. And yes, shockingly, it was me who caused the mischief. See, I thought we would totally have enough time to sneak out for a smoke, grab an iced coffee and make it back in time for Ms. G’s. fourth period AP Chemistry class. But, we didn’t. We got grounded, too. Total BS. I’d be mad at me, too.

    This pic was taken several skins, shapes and months ago, for the both of us, but I found it hiding in a folder I thought I’d already posted everything from and didn’t want it to miss the blog! I can’t remember where most of this stuff is from, so sorry about that. Our sweaters are from Emery, but I honestly can’t remember much else about the stuff in this pic. We’re working on trying to be better about remembering to take down everything we’re wearing, but yeah, we’re clearly struggling with that! Till, next time…

  • Love,I said real love, it’s like feeling no fear…

    We’re half way through February and it’s Valentine’s Day. I hope you’re spending time with folks who make you feel their love in the simplest ways. But even more than that, I hope you’re spending time adoring yourself. You are worthy of all the love you give so freely. It’s important to the time to really take care of ourselves, so that we can best show up for those around us. That’s what I’ll be doing for awhile.

  • You can’t choose what stays and what fades away…

    What wonderful tales of magic and mischief lie between the leather bindings of these books? Millie and I love a good book, but I’m a slow reader, so I may never know the answer to that question, but it won’t stop me from trying to discover as many stories as possible. In the real world, I spend a lot of time on the road, so audiobooks have been a lifesaver for me in that respect over the years. Speaking of, I just started re-listening to The Lord of the Rings. It really is my favorite.

    Sometimes you just need a change, tho. And luckily in SL, there’s no shortage of new stuff to try. We decided it had been too long since we updated our skins, so meet Nina from [the Skinnery]. We always keep our shapes similar, duh, we’re twins, but I like how they look specific to the both of our personalities as well. We are both in love with our new dresses from Bonnie, so we wore them in inverted colors for our rummaging through the stacks at this secret library we stumbled across.   • Saying nothing, that’s enough for me…

    Is anybody else over Winter yet? To be completely honest, I live in a part of the world where we get a lot of cold and snowy, Winter weather this time of year. And I love Winter. I always have. I love the snow. There’s something so cathartic about it to me. And a stillness I can’t explain. But this year…this year is even testing my patience. According to the Phil the groundhog, we’re not done yet, either. You’d think I’d be over Winter in SL, too, but no. In SL, you get all the best parts of Winter, with none of the crap that annoys you the day after. No school closings, no terrible drivers, no slush. Just the stillness of the snow.

    A few weeks ago, our sim was a beautiful Winter Wonderland. Luckily, Millie and I were able to grab a couple photos before it was all taken down. Our cozy floor length coats and hats kept us warm while we were out tending to the horses. How very Little House on The Prairie of us?   • She wore a raspberry beret…

    I have never been to Paris, but I have been enamored with the idea since I was a teenager. Like many of you, I took French as my foreign language in high school. This was my first real understanding that the world was a much bigger place than the small town I was raised in and since then, I have always wanted to experience as much of it as possible.

    Since it’s incredibly cold IRL and I’m not incredibly rich, I convinced Millie to come with me to Paris in SL. I haven’t been to this sim in ages, but it looks just like I remember. Here we are at the foot of the Champs-Élysées, enjoying our winter walk in Paris. As always, all photo editing done by the lovely, Millie. À la prochaine…
